I keep hearing about the new Crossroads Academy charter school that is opening up this fall. We currently homeschool but are always open to other/better options should they come up. We live in Hyde Park so we are in the KC school district. I have never been open to any of the schools that are a part of the KC school district for different reasons. Do you think this school will be any different from other KC schools. If so, what is going to make it different? Would love any feedback or input since I know nothing about this new school.

I think it's suppose to be a more art focused Charter School and I believe priority is given to students living downtown then they will consider other neighborhoods. Have you ever looked into Academie Lafayette, the new Hyde Park Campus is opening this summer I believe?

Thanks brewcrew1000. Academie Lafayette isn't an option since my daughter is going into 3rd grade. They have to enter in kindergarten.
