My favorites are Jack Stack and Oklahoma Joe's. And I like the Oklahoma Joe's in Olathe a lot better than the one in KCK. The Olathe location is much larger/not crowded and a more pleasant place to eat. Zarda is okay. I used to love Hayward's but the last time I went there I was underwhelmed and haven't been back. That was several years ago. I may have just hit on a bad day or maybe I just didn't order the right thing

Like I said, my top two are Jack Stack and Oklahoma Joe's. I think Jack Stack is a little more expensive. I don't want to like a place named Oklahoma Joe's, but I do really like it. And like Mathguy said, you can get two $50 Jack Stack gift cards for $80 at Costco.

We used to get Wyandot BBQ once in a while to go (the place doesn't seem that clean so I could never really bring myself to eat inside, but would get it to go), but they have gone way downhill in the last year to the point that I won't even go there anymore.

I've never been a fan of Gates.

LC's had some violations and was closed down for a while. They are open again now, but I personally wouldn't eat there because of the previous violations.

I'll also say that Woodyard wasn't necessarily special, but on a beautiful day you really can't beat the ambience.
