I believe there used to be one near Quivira and Shawnee Mission Pkwy...but I was a pretty young little guy when it closed. Miss that place

There is one in CoMo? Must be new.

Another chain that's in kc that I kind of miss is fazolis. There is not that much fast food stuff like that out here.

I think there are more fast food places in Blue Springs than all of Montgomery County, MD, I'm exaggerating, but only a little.

Yeah kcmo, they built it within the last few years -- maybe almost 5 now? It's near the interchange by the Home Depot.

IN & Out is ok. The locals here think it's the best ever, but to me meh, it's ok.
Also it's jam packed all hours of the day so I avoid the place.

No Jamba Juice KC?? All of you should be outraged. I'll miss that more than In & Out.

REI coming to the metro is awesome. My last home was in Seattle and I used to go to their flagship store all the time. Their boot guarantee is the best in the biz.

I grew up in Southern Cal, and In 'n' Out is completely part of the culture. But I was never blown away by the quality of the food. It's good, but not worth the unreal drive-thru lines that used to wind around the location in Ventura, where I last lived.

Jamba Juice is OK, but also nothing to write home about. What I'd love to see come to KC is a fish taco place like Wahoo's.

I love In n Out. It's like a cheaper version of five guys. Every try to take a family of four to five guys?

I miss Windsteads though. Good burgers and fries there.

You know, I never heard of a fish taco until I moved here.
I think a Wahoo's type establishment would go over really well in KC.

There are many places in KC that have fish tacos (mostly Mexi/SW). I like El Patron for Calimex version, La Fuente for trad and The Mixx has an unusual version that works. There are quite a few places actually that don't suck.

BTW, there used to be an In/Out on Linwood in Midtown but don't know if it was same as W Coast chain. It was not very good and it eventually closed. Every market has their drunken burger joints and KCs is Winsteads.
