It was a crappy call and it's coming on the heels of a loss to STL last year for the wildcard where they went on to win it all.

It's really the making of a great rivalry more than anything.

Eh, the call was completely within the ump's right to make. Period. And I'm not the only one who thought so either: White: Umpires made correct call on infield-fly rule

But that's completely beside the point (and you're right that they were still butt hurt about losing out in the wild card race last year). Fans, including many kids, and the players were put in harm's way by this ass-hattery. The game nearly had to be forfeited because of the actions of the fans. That's beyond the pale stupid. Way to ruin Chipper's last game.

yea, that was crazy. I don't see how nobody was hurt, maybe there were some injuries.
