Hi all,

I am going to my first ever chiefs game and I was wondering where I cam park for free/cheap near the stadium for the game today? Could you guys give me some hints tips as i am not too familiar with the area...plus, is Oklahoma joes one of the best/cheaper BBQ places in KC?

Thanks, go Chiefs!

The Arrowhead lot is the only place to really park out by the stadiums considering there isn't much else out there. Maybe somebody on here knows of a magical spot that I don't.

Second question confuses me. Are you asking if Okie Joe's is the best, the cheapest, or both? It is very good BBQ, but I don't know what you consider cheap. Plan on spending about $15 per person there. But you should know that they are closed on Sundays.

Have fun at the game

Ah, Oklahoma Joe's is closed Sundays? Man, that sucks.

Anyone else have a recommendation? What is the price to park at the stadiums?

LC's BBQ. It's near the stadiums and better than OK Joes IMO.

It's $27 to park at arrowhead. If you don't mind walking a little bit further, not much trust me because unless you have a permit, you will be on the fringes of the lots anyway, you can park across Blue Ridge Blvd. There are many options in the private lots, even the gas stations have some limited parking that is less than the stadium charges and you can get out much easier after the game. Just donít park and leave without paying somebody, like the hotels or taco bell, you WILL get towed.
