Just wondering if this is a nice place to go for a little bit? I was trying to find a place in the city that I could park for a while that has a nice view of the city? I thought Case Park might be pretty good, is it in a good part of town? Are there any better places to go?

Case Park has good views of the West Bottoms - an old stockyard/industrial area of town. If you're looking for somewhere that has a better view of Downtown, then go to the Penn Valley Park/ Liberty Memorial area. These are the spots that have the typical post-card view of Downtown and the Crossroads.

Like this view from Liberty Memorial:

Or the View from the Scout statue in Penn Valley Park:

Case Park for views of the Missouri and Kansas Rivers; Penn Valley for skyline.

Penn Valley it is, that helps a lot. I never would have known to go there. Do you guys have an address or a way that I can get there? I tried googling it an got a lot of different options on google maps.

If coming from the north, take I-35 south out of downtown and exit at 27th Street/Broadway (that's the exit on the left). Follow that road (it becomes Penn Valley Drive) and you're in the park. From the south, take Broadway north past 31st and you'll end up in the same place (Broadway becomes Penn Valley Drive).

I can't believe out isolated the Scout statue is now. The parks department needs to figure out some way to make that part of the park more accessible.
