My grandma lives in Kansas City her birthday is coming up Nov 30, she will be turning 100 So I plan to take her to dinner, her request was the place has to serve beer or she wont be a happy camper lol. I dont know the restaruants around there. So far Ive googled and found the beer kitchen would this be a good place to take a 100 year old lady that likes beer? She also loves dishes that have rabbit meat & bbq. Where else would be a good place?

Are you talking about any kind of beer or do you want a large selection of beer? Pretty much every restaurant serves beer. But, if you want some place that has a selection of good, premium beer I would suggest Blanc Burger, Yardhouse, Flying Saucer. Any of the KC Hopps places would work too.

There is a gastropub place on the Plaza that I think actually servers rabbit. Called Gram and Dunn or something like that - never been.

^it's yummy. Their menu is seasonal, so not sure what they have now, but it'd be hard to go wrong there.

Thanks it sounds like my grand ma would like Gram and Dunn she may be turning 100 but she still likes to live. But Im still open for other suggestions. I know she likes german beers, if they dont have that then she likes guinnes and miller.

Antons is a new place Downtown and they are suppose to have some awesome beer.

Another place that might be worth checking out is Haus, its a Beer and Sausage place, they have a bunch of different beers on tap and some pretty good sausage varities.

I live within walking distance and can't believe I haven't done G&D yet. Too many places to keep up with. Gets great reviews from outsiders, though oddly several poor reviews from locals...

^ I've pretty much given up on Yelp unless the preponderence of the evidence is that it's terrible. I've just had too many poor experiences at well rated places and good experiences at middlingly rated places to put much faith in it any more.
