Lincoln Prep is a STEM school I believe.

It's a public high school but has entrance exams to get in, highly competitive. Might be worth looking into.

US News and World Reports did rank them high. I don't know what their criteria was. I got my information from the US Dept of Ed. I would think that it would be more reliable. Lee's Summit District ranks 27th in the State and the State ranks 47th in the country.

Lee's Summit is quite far from the airport. I would not recommend this district. Their tax levies are the second highest in the area and they spend less per pupil than the other districts.

Unless fancy buildings, football fields, and band uniforms are important to you I would stay away from Lee's Summit.

Exclamation Looking for school district in KC area for autistic child

I am moving to the KC area in the next couple of months and I am looking into the school districts of Lees Summit, Park Hill, Belton, and Blue Valley to send my son who is Autistic and main streamed in the general classroom. He has several supports in place right now. He will be attending 2nd grade in the fall. How would these school districts rate?
