I didn't move there until the late end of the 00's, and only lived there briefly; my then-SO was interested for the time being in becoming a homeowner, and it was just a rental home while he househunted. It was on Sweeney, and was a decent enough ranch, but the neighborhood was very empty, due to the housing market crash. Lots of empty houses, which is a little eerie on those tucked away, winding lanes. I did very much enjoy living in Waldo, though.

The Well's grand opening right around the time my ex closed on his house and we moved out of Waldo. I've gone a handful of times since, though, most recently for a coworker going-away party.

Cool. I was just curious if The Well was too "douchebag" for you or not.

Why, are you still working on amassing your master list of "douchebag places" after the Jones Pool thread?

Yes. Nobody responded to my question there asking what other places are considered "douchebag".

Anywhere frequented by dudes who dress like this...also known as "bros"

The Bro, escorting a succesful conquest from his loft after a night at the P&L...

The Bro, getting ready for a noon tee-time at Ironhorse...

A pack of bros, getting ready for a night out at the Well..but they may just invade enemy territory at Corner Cocktails just for the irony, bro...

When the ratio of bros to normal people becomes 1.5:1, then the place officially becomes "douchebag". There is an advanced course in this as well...but I charge tuition for that one. Highlights include: if one dude walks into bar at night with a pair of Burberry sunglasses tucked into the collar of a Ed Hardy vee-neck tee, the place automatically becomes "douchebag"...kind of like how a solid can turn into a gas without passing through liquid phase (also known as sublimation).
