Default I thought North Kansas city was a pretty quiet town. the crime rate seems really high, what gives.
Crime rates in this town average from 800 to 900. National average is only around 280

Is that per capita? That may skew things because the population of the city is rather small with the bulk of the city being commercial businesses. I've spent years spending time in Northtown and believe it to be very safe.

I've visited NKC a handful of times, walked around town at night...seemed very peaceful to me.
