Default Moving from Michigan....Please help!

Hello all,

I'm considering moving from Michigan to the Kansas City, MO area in the next 3-6 months. My husband and I desire a better quality of living than what MI currently has to offer. I'm trying to figure out what areas are best for an African-American couple. We keep to ourselves and prefer nice, diverse, quiet, and well kept areas. I'm open to living in Kansas or Missouri, but I would like to be close to Overland Park. We would prefer to rent a 2-3 bedroom home or duplex with a basement up to $850 a month. We don't have any children, so schools are not a factor. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yes, Overland Park is a good place to start looking. The northern part of the city would probably have what you are looking for, and that area is closer to Downtown as well as the Plaza shopping area.

If Overland Park is where you want to be near, then search there. I can't think of any reasons why you shouldn't. Best of luck!
