This is probably one of the most impactful projects in downtown KC.

Downtown KC has so much going on right now it's amazing.
There are currently 4 cranes up downtown (Arterra, Hampton Hotel, Loews Hotel, Childrens Mercy tower) and perhaps 3-4 more could rise by summer.

Not sure if this was posted, but seems like there are some new apartments coming to crossroads very soon. I guess they have had fire issues with the current building.

Tons of new apartments are coming to the Crossroads.
There are several projects that should add 3000+ new units over the next 2 years.

Drove by the new residential by Berkeley Park. Glad something's going in there. And they finally got rid of the piles of concrete debris that was sitting there for years.

Was never a fan of that area. Berkeley Park in and of itself wasn't cutting it.

Brookside 51 is finally nearing completion directly adjacent to UMKC's campus. Hopefully this area will develop as a nice southern anchor for the streetcar expansion in years to come.

Great pic! I've always thought that something like 3344 Peachtree in Buckhead would be a cool 3 or 4 light.

It wouldn't have to be 600' tall but it would be cool to have an office/residential component. And it would break up feeling of the glass wall with that vertical relief.
