These are very neat historical articles with content that is not often given much consideration regarding Kansas City MO history. These articles also contain lots of very cool historical images; some of the images had never been published before the articles were posted just a few moths ago.
The first article relates to Acme Livery Service a company that Kansas City MO. can be very proud of because it’s over 100 years old and still going strong. Included in Acme’s rich history and all the images in the article is the connection to the Kansas City Mafia, Walt Disney, The beetles, and two US Presidents. An incredibly fascinating historical read that takes the reader deep into the working history of Kansas City and brings the reader up to current times with a Historic Kansas City company that’s still going strong.

The second article is another related company that also left an incredible mark on both Kansas City and the entire ambulance industry. With ushering in the first ever paramedic license in the state of Missouri Physicians Exchange also helped a national company from closing its doors while helping it to better build ambulances on a national level and all this was connected to Kansas City MO.
