I don't know if any are decent, but there's Value Place in Mission, Kansas, close to where I live. They only have weekly rates. I personally would not stay at any extended-stay motel for too long.

I have always thought extended stays hotels were pretty run down places and cater to almost homeless or even a criminal element and many of them do. However, I had a chance to spend some time in Value Place near the stadiums and it seemed like a rather decent place. I think they have locations across the metro, but the only one I have been in is the one by the stadiums.

Edit, sorry, I didn't even see that radiosilence already mentioned value place. So yea, that's probably one of the better cheaper ones unless you go to one of the more upscale chains like Marriott Residence Inn or something.

There's one at College and Nall. I don't know anything about the place except it's relatively new and is in a good, low crime area.
