Kansas City has well established cultural, business and social Indian organizations.
I would start with this one:

India Associaton of Kansas City
PO Box 27392
Overland Park, KS 66225
info@iakc.org
IAKC – India Association of Kansas City
The India Association of Kansas City is a non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian organization formed in 1965 with the primary purpose to serve the cultural and educational needs of the Indian Community in Greater Kansas City Area. Its objectives are to provide a common platform to all members living in the Greater Kansas City Area for pursuing their common goals and sharing their concerns while promoting joint efforts in the social, cultural and educational activities of the members.

Skylar Ridge Apartments 119th and Metcalf (Valley Park Elementary...I believe)
Lionsgate apartments - 143rd-151st and Metcalf (Lakewood Elementary)

Both complexes have lots of Indians living there.
There are many Indian Grocers in the Overland Park area.
Both complexes are in the Blue Valley school district.

Good information so far from the posters above.

Don't worry about the schools, ALL of the public schools around that area are excellent.

You won't have any trouble finding Indian families, especially in the Blue Valley area.

Go to Namaste grocery store. It's on metcalf. I think the guy who runs it lives on my street. I say that because every time I'm in there he is and he is working. Lots of cool stuff and it's usually busy and is kind of a social hub for Indian immigrants to KC area.

I can understand why you want to move here since this city seems to have some decent job opportunities, but why would want your children to grow in a sheltered Bible belt full of people with regressive mentalities. Podunkville in Alabama is no different from this supposedly progressive city with it's deep seated hatred towards anyone or anything that's not WHITE.

I'm surrounded by tons of Indian people here in OP and they all seem to be very happy. Maybe you're just sensitive and looking to be a victim.
