Small metros like Buffalo and New Orleans support 2 teams. I'm pretty sure we could support the Chiefs with 1 million. Afterall the Chiefs are a regional team and have always been the top NFL team in Missouri and Kansas.
Kinda sounds like you're saying the Chiefs depend on the region for their success, which includes Kansas. But also that they don't need Kansas. Which one is it?

We don't "need" them, but we have them. Just as even though the STL Cardinals do not "need" most of Missouri and southern Illinois in their fanbase, they still have them.

The further Chiefs Kingdom reaches, the better. All NFL franchises have fans outside their city. But the fact remains that the Missouri side of the metro alone is large enough for at-least one big 4 team.

Looking forward to cheering you on this season. What position is it that you play again? Go Chiefs!

Wow. The Royals have a ton of fans in KS and are hugely popular right now so the lottery uses them in an ad campaign and PAYS THEM FOR IT.

What a bizarre thread....and yes, another KS bashing thread...thirsty for more I guess....
