Anything can happen, but it's looking good at the moment! Look what happened in the last election in Wichita when all of the rural votes came in last second. I'm over here praying that the airport passes because it would be nice to fly out of a more modern KC Airport. I really do like flying out of Wichita and most of their Airport Hotels are nicer, but I would much rather fly out of a modern KCI. I've seen a lot of Kansas residents voicing support for, helping spread correct information, and just in general taking the time to promote a new KCI over the past few days. This is truly something that even the residents of St. Joseph and Lawrence want.

One of the biggest troll accounts that was heavily spreading misinformation about the airport vote on Facebook though comments on news postings was taken down over a week ago for making vulgar and racist comments, which helped the people promoting the project get the truth out there. Plus, the more sensible voters seem to stay out of the Facebook drama anyways.

No joke. May as well compare KCI to JoCo executive.

Well I can see why a person might like KCI better than LAX. Run 74 million people through KCI every year and it wouldn't be a fun airport either.

I don't think it's about the number of people.

I'm really surprised by the northland. I wonder what caused them to vote yes. They used to be very against a new airport at least in the polls. Maybe a lot of frequent flyers, pilots, crew etc live up there and they came out to vote yes.
