I recently renewed my lease in March of 2017 for an apartment I've been renting for 1 year. Some circumstances have changed and I'm thinking about moving to a different apartment that would be more affordable for me. At my current apartment, I paid 1 month up from which they would use as the fee to break the lease so that expense is covered. I'm just wanting to get some advice, pros and cons of actually doing this ? Thanks.

Some expenses you might or will have if you move: security deposit, utility deposits, actual moving expenses, figure $100 at Bed Bath and Beyond for stuff like a kitchen trashbasket because your old one doesn't fit (or some such). If you move from KS to MO or vice versa, there will be the expense of car registrations and driver's licenses.
