Thumbs down Kansas City Tax

I was told that if you live in Kansas and work in Missouri, then you have to pay the KCMO earnings tax. I'm okay with paying the tax; however, what if you telecommute from your home in KS about 3 out of 5 days and do not drive into KCMO. Is there any deduction for the days one does not commute into KCMO?

Yes, if it comes out of your paycheck, just apply for a refund for the days you worked in Kansas. If you pay at the end of the year, just pay the portion you worked while in KCMO.
