I have become rather fond of Uber Eats, and we have lots of competitors to it in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

I wonder what competing services, if any, are available and are good to use the KC area.

Recommendations, anyone?

Check out ClusterTruck.

https://www.clustertruck.com

They don't cover the whole city yet, but they're supposed to be pretty sharp.

That is a pretty limited delivery area they have, actually. And they don't even have an Android app.

Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub and then a lot of restaurants have their own delivery drivers.

I use Menufy a lot and pick up my own food. I have at times had an unkempt delivery driver with a filthy car deliver my food and...I'd just rather pick it up myself.

I hear ya, but sometimes it's really a hassle to leave work/the house for food when you're really busy.

what place have you ordered from but not delivered, and not have a competitor that didn't?

outside of sit down restaurants, almost everywhere delivers within a set radius
or the "pre-internet" route, get a neighbor's kid that drives, give him $10 to pick it up for you

edit: saw luzianne mention doordash, I posted link since I wasn't familiar with it myself so I wanted to see what was on it, included link for others too

DoorDash has been excellent. Clustertruck's food is great, as long as you're downtown. I have an office at WeWork on 19th and Main and use them weekly.
