My husband and I are going to a concert at the Sprint Center. What restaurants are nearby, and do they need a reservation?

The Power and Light district is just across the street from the Sprint Center with a large number of options. During concert events the area gets extremely busy. You can get seated at 5, you might have an hour wait at 5:30, and a 2 hour wait at 6.

As mentioned above, there is an entire entertainment district right across the street with several restaurants. I would get a reservation if possible. Here is the link:

Default Power & Light District is AMAZING!

This area is new in the last couple of months and is wonderful. KC has something to be truly proud about in this entertainment district. Safety is a priority as well. You can find anything in this area, from burgers/bbq/pizza to fine dining.

Check out the river city market area (like below) as well, it is not in walking distance, but a short 5 minute drive via car if you cannot arrive as early as you wish to miss the busy periods in the Power and Light District.

If you need anymore input, just ask!

You will enjoy!
