The census says KCMO has 448,000 residents within the city limits of this metro of over 2 million people. A new drill down study says the city has a population of over 510,000.

One of my best friends works with the census bureau and he told me the city population figures were in fact under by 8-15 thousand. Several miscounts had led to the under value number wise.
