Default visiting KC this weekend

Hi everyone, we have decided to go check out KC and see if we like it. While we are there we are going to look at small towns near Bonner Springs. We need a decent, cheap house with some acerage in the country of small town. Any advice on some names of nice towns close to Bonner Springs?
thanks in advance

If you want cheap, you'll have to go further out than that, unfortunately.
Especially if you want acreage.

I would say Edgerton, Kearney, Smithville, Dearborn, Tonganoxie, Lone Jack, Pecuilar, and Basehor would be good towns to look into for more acerage.
