The city's skyline is nothing to right home about. However my experiences in KC have proven it to be a very underrated city.

Both are nice, though. KC obviously is more split between the states. There's not much to look at on the Illinois side of the Mississippi. There's some nice suburbs, but there's not really a skyline.
All of KC's skyline is in Missouri. Kansas is primarily suburban, and Kansas City, Kansas, has no high-rises to speak of. The tallest buildings on the Kansas side are far south of downtown, along the 435 loop, in a much newer part of town.

My Favorite Towers in Kansas City are definitely 909 Walnut and Kansas City Power and Light Building.

I like the Western Auto sign a lot. It reminds me a little of the Citgo sign in Boston.
