My girlfriend and I are planning a move to Kansas City. We've both been living in Minneapolis, MN although I'm currently in Lawrence, KS. We're moving to KC so that I can still attend KU in Lawrence so that we can both get jobs. We are both college grads looking for a neighborhood of people that might be around our age, but not really a college area since we've done that enough. Our ages are 23 and 25. What are the most fun or happening areas of KC? We don't want to live in any suburbs, if that helps.
And advice greatly appreciated! |

Crossroads, Westport, City Market... many places around downtown. I'd avoid going too far east.
There's really not a big college area. The only one would be around UMKC and Rockhurst, which are pretty much next door to each other. They both seem to be more along the lines of commuter colleges as opposed to places like KU. |
