Default catholic school and parish question

We may be moving to KC. What are the top parish schools? We are burb people and are active in our parish. Our kids play many sports. thanks for any info.

There are a trio of great Catholic schools/churches in the Brookside neighborhood: Visitation, St. Peter's and St. Elizabeth's.

Whether these would be a good match for you depends and what kind of "burb people" you are. Brookside is a streetcar suburb in KC proper. If you want to live in the exurbs, these wouldn't be for you.

One thing that you may find beneficial of Brookside is that a large majority of the families send their kids to these schools (as opposed to public) and there is a large Catholic population in the area.

I am on the school board at Our Lady of Lourdes in Raytown. Great school! I went to school there and so did all 4 of my children. Now grandchildren are attending the school.
Also a very friendly parish, very easy to become involved in different activities. The school has convenient access to Interstate 435 and 350 highway. The nearest Catholic High School is just a couple miles south of our parish.
