Plaza (affordable apartments, condos, neighborhood)

Last week, I was through the Plaza for the first time in years. My, how it has developed with apartment building after apartment building. I was told, though, that they are all condos. Are there still affordable apartments in or around the Plaza? And, where is the nearest grocery store?

Nearest grocery is Sunfresh in Westport.

The Plaza is nearly all condos anymore, but you will still find quite a few apartment buildings in the area. Too many for me to name.

I would just spend a day in the area. Go into places and talk to property owners. You will find your way to something you like.

Thank you. That's a ways away. Well, not if you are driving. There used to be a nice grocery on the Plaza but it was closed. No matter. It surely has changed.

I live on the Plaza, and my building is quite affordable by neighborhood standards and is among those that has not gone condo. It's part of the vintage buildings that are usually referred to as "The Poets," off the SW corner of the Plaza.

I usually shop at Sunfresh in Westport, but also sometimes at the Price Chopper in Brookside.
