Really skrazzle???? Because apparently you are the ignorant one...Have you checked the crime rate recently for Kansas City, Mo.??? Or better yet checked it in the last 10 years??? I assume not. Because homicide is the number one cause of death. In fact by the 3rd of January they had already report 17 homicides.

So I think that you dropped your own hat on that one.

Umm, there is like 1000 times more high quality neighborhoods in the city limits of KCMO (both north and south of the river) than Cass County has.

Cass County is a redneck suburb. Nothing more. I would rather live in Grandview.

a redneck suburb?? ok. obviously you live in Kc. or Independence which is the only place worse... well, congratulations... i wouldn't live there if someone paid me. I like country tranquility...not to mention not having to worry about being robbed. Just because there are neighborhoods in Kansas City which are safe by no means is it a safe assumption to make that kansas city IS SAFE or nice in it's entirety. By the way the comment about Cass County is a flat out LIE... There are hundreds of wonderful little suburbs in Cass County all of which are actually safe...Hence the crime rate being so low. So as for all of you who seem to have an issue with my statements are concerned well, I hope you enjoy your stay in Kansas City. I was simply giving my opinion on the suburban areas. And may I add, I also gave statistics to back up my so called theory of suburbia... I'm pretty sure you haven't quoted any because unfortunately the facts on Kansas City tend to do nothing more than confirm my thoughts. By the way, how many high school football games from kansas city have YOU been to lately...I'm guessing NONE.

Also, just a reminder, Cass County schools do not use metal detectors nor is there any recorded evidence of weapons in schools in any of the cass county school districts. But then again, you probally don't have kids, or you wouldn't want them growing up in a polluted environment only to end up in the judicial system... By the way? How many homeless shelters are in Kansas City? Or how about domestic abuse shelters? Hospitals? Yes...I think my point has been made.

Did you just say hospitals are a bad thing? Now I'm very confused.

no, but more hospitals are needed in Kansas City, Mo. because there are more injuries and more violent crimes reported there a year than anywhere else in Mo. (including St. Louis) Crazy theory I had there about Kansas City NOT being safe. Would you like to know the most used drugs? Meth, Heroin, and last but not least crack. Kansas City also has more reported drug overdoses than Cass County per year and has for 10 years strong. So, no. Hospitals are not a bad thing. But it's a bad thing that the ones in Kansas City, Mo. are always full.

Really??? Please show me on a map? Or how about with police records last year... Show me something... For goodness sakes this is the "Show Me" state. So I suggest using some sort of factual proof. Boy there must be over a million little hidden neighborhoods no public records are aware of for that statement to be true.

Nottin better than puttin on the camo cabellas hat and driving the 4x4 up and down that highway 58 between the walmart and target! Living it up in cass county where all the rednecks that are afraid of blacks moved from Raytown and Grandview to “be in the country”.

Cass is redneck. Every other vehicle down there is a pickup truck with big tires.

Let’s go mudding in the truck!

No matter how many beige houses you build in the farm fields of cass county, that area is a redneck magnet.

Wow. Obviously you have never ACTUALLY been to Raymore or you would realize how big of a joke that statement is. I have yet to see ANY trucks with "big ol' tires" since i've lived here. So that must be a last stitch effort to accuse someone of racism since you couldn't present any factual evidence proving your opinion. IN FACT... most people drive new vehicles here, most either luxury or sedan. Oh, and that includes the black people that do live here. So I guess you are definetly from Independence...

You'll be glad for those fabulous KC hospitals when you flip your 4 wheeler.

My point being that they're full of people from the entire metro area and beyond.
