Default Ever Bought A mattress Online?

I'm currently laid up with a fractured pelvis and now's the time for a new mattress. I'm 50 miles from nowhere and would like to buy online. I know the model and make but feel uneasy about spendind $1400 online. Have any of you done this? If good or bad luck ordering from some online bedding co. you may email me if it shouldn't be posted here. Not sure about giving names here. Thanks

If you know the make and model you want, I don't see a problem with ordering it online. Just order it from a reputable company. How about costco.com? They have a decent selection of mattresses.

This is going to be my next mattress: Westin Store -Product detail

If you get it from a reputable company you shouldn't have any worries about sending the money along.

It's a Sealy latex bed and I haven't found a store within my range that I can buy from and have it delivered. Sealy doesn't sell it direct. So I would have to buy it from a source online that I have no knowledge of. Luzziane I assume you've slept on the westin bed and love it?

I haven't slept in one but I know it's the one they use in their hotels and have talked to lots of people who have one and love it.

Here's a Sealy latex bed from Costco - does Costco have restrictions on where they deliver? http://www.costco.ca/Browse/Productg...96*&lang=en-CA

Just had another thought - have you tried Sears? My parents have lived in very rural areas and they have ordered a lot of things from Sears and never had a problem having them delivered.
