Default What are they building on the opposite side of Independence center?

It looks like some sort of stadium seating when you look through the open end. Anyone know what it is?

It's a stadium that's supposed to house a minor-league hockey team.
It is also supposed to have concerts, high-school basketball games, and I think some sort of public use of the ice.

Yea, CHL Team. We are hockey fans and can't wait. It will also have a second sheet of ice that will be used for community hockey leagues etc.

The facility will also get a lot of concerts etc. Should be a perfect venue for events too small for Sprint or Kemper, but too big to go anywhere else.
