Send some cooler weather this way... It was 92F this afternoon in central NH. That is a record high.

I will gladly trade you the 92 for the 65 we had today.

We think alike. I always tell my husband to plop me down in the middle of the desert in a lawn chair and I'll be happy.

Today has been one of the nicest days of the year so far, weather-wise.
Sunny, cool but nowhere near cold, warm, but not hot. Perfect.
Kind of like that San Diego you admire so much. Probably with more humidity, though.

Crime rates generally are higher in warmer climates.

I once heard or read it put this way: Forty below weeds out a lot of the riff-raff.

I don't understand why so many people flocke(d) to Phoenix en masse over the past several years. It is a classic example of a boom and bust economy that has now largely busted. It has few redeeming qualities about it IMO. Oh, the summer heat is also compounded by all of the sprawl and concrete which creates a massive heat island. How about low temperatures in the 90sF! No thanks!!!

Yeah, Phoenix in the Summer, there is such a thing as too hot. I was there last June, it was like being in an oven!

I couldn't agree more. I'd love to never again see 70 degrees.
Here in the Bay Area we can count on cool for a good part of the summer, but in recent years we have these stupid hot spells on a recurring basis that last for several days and are pure torture when you are accustomed to cool comfort.
How anyone can "enjoy" 95 degree heat is beyond the limit of my imagination.

I would rather be in 120 degrees in Phoenix than 90 degrees here. They have no humidity so their heat does not feel nearly as bad. I was running around playing with a bunch of little kids in Phoenix when it was a 120 and it wasnt bad at all.
I love Phoenix. I use to want to live there but I think I would choose Miami over it due to being close to the ocean and water so I could boat.
