You might try CSL (Center for Spiritual Living) on 39th just East of State Line.

uhhh.. my guess is that they're looking for a regular ol' Christian church that isn't too racially homogenous.
They might try a church in a diverse area like Raytown, or southern parts of the northland. Maybe some parts of Overland Park...

You should try Church of the Revolution down in Westport. Most of the congregation is white but we are accepting of pretty much anybody. There are several interacial couples including myself and the pastor. A few of the members are gay, hopefully that wont offend you. Also, I'd say the majority of the congregation is in their late 20's to early 30's. Here is a link to our website.

Well, he didn't specify, and CSL is accepting of all faiths, so a Christian would not feel out of place and the congregation is quite diverse.

What is a multi-racial church? If they are a church shouldn't they be accepting to everybody?

No, he didn't specify, but Christians are the primary users of the word "church". So I just assumed.
Also, most Christians would say that Jesus is the Way, Truth, and the Life, and that nobody gets to heaven without Him. That's almost word-to-word from the Bible. So even if CSL is accepting of whatever, the average Christian would most likely not accept the goings-on there. That doesn't make them bad, they're just following what they believe. A mutual respect is in order.

You'd think, but not all churches are immune to the social ills of the day. They're human, and that humanity often overrides whatever is stated in the Bible. The Bible clearly condemns racism. Christians who are racist in the name of God often misuse scriptures that are meant to warn against other religions, not the different nationalities or races of people that follow those religions.

Since "multi racial" was the only descriptor, I assumed that people were the primary goal, not doctrine. But that's neither here nor there. A few suggestions have been made, I'm sure the OP will find a church to attend.

"not accept the goings-on" ?
The "goings-on" include spiritually uplifting music, prayer, a 20-25 minute sermon about a spiritual topic, some announcements about events at the place and in the community .... Pretty much the same "goings-on" as one will find in any church on any Sunday.
The messages are presented universally, so a Christian might interpret them a little differently than a non-Christian might. But my point was that neither would feel out of place or uncomfortable there. And yes, mutual respect is definitely the key.
