Is it true that people from KC think that St. Louis is "East Coast" because we have attitudes?

No truth to that. You're just another midwest river town.

Are you some sort of troll? I have lived in both towns. There is not much difference between KC and StL.

I think KC has a much more healthy urban core than StL, but StL has more suburbs.

all I see on the highways in KC are big Dodge Pickups....I think KC is a lot more "country" than St. Louis. St. Louis seems a lot more "cosmopolitan"

I've read that because St. Louis was the "gateway to the west", easterners who chose not to continue west stopped and settled in St. Louis. This gave it a higher concentration of easterners. It wasn't a dis, just a fact of immigration and probably. There is definitely a more eastern attitude in St. Louis.

Because those people obviously didn't pay attention to high school geography class. I would have a hard time calling any midwestern city (exception Chicago) cosmopolitan. Only because of most people's perception of what the word means, not because it lacks in any sense.
