I'm actually in an interracial couple myself. I'm wife my gf/fiance is hispanic. Honestly the only time i've ever even thought about being in a mixed race couple is when I see threads like this. I guess it is just me but I dont see the need to distinguish it.

Nickname, I can understand your view. My husband is Korean/white mix and I'm white. I don't think we receive the same stares that some of my friends who are in black/white relationships do. Growing up in the deep south I see/hear a lot of racial remarks so I know how difficult interracial dating can be on some couples. My guess is that the founders of the group just want to meet other open minded individuals.
