I really don't get the dress code. Blank white t-shirts a problem? Really? I don't mind some sort of dress code, but the one they have...or had at least, seemed ridiculously overbroad and subject to interpretation. What constitutes "baggy jeans"? What constitutes a "large necklace on a male"??? Seems silly. Just keep security tight, no need to keep people out based on what they wear.

There has been enough instances of this that it shows that Cordish definitely has some racism issues. It is going to be fun to see how they handle this at the new entertainment district they are building right next to Busch Stadium in St. Louis.

Not to mention they had the same exact problem in Louisville several years earlier. You'd think they would have learned from that.

Hey, here's a thought: If you don't like the dress code, don't go there! I don't like the dress code, so I stay away. And I'm white.

I'm not going to go down there, knowing full well there is a dress code, get barred, then hire a stinking lawyer as if I have some Constitutional right to enter any place of business I want, dressed any way I want.

But I guess a lot of people will. After all, there's good money to be made in screaming "discrimination" when you suffer the crushing trauma of not getting entry to some bar.

Why let some place discriminate against you?

Someone somewhere has to stand up against this stuff. I guess you feel Rosa Parks should have just walked instead of riding the bus?

You don't allow them when you don't patronize the business. It's not rocket science....

Nor is it rocket science that a person has the right to go there the same as anyone else.

Are you saying that they should just roll on along with the discrimination and go find another place. Not very American imo. We Americans stand up for our rights! I am not implying that any poster is un American. I am iMplying that you are considerEd a good American if you stand up to injustices.

Wow -- "Power and White" district sounds about right! Today I heard Funkhouser talking about a study the city did to test for racial profiling in the District. They sent groups of whites, blacks and latinos dressed in questionable outfits into the District -- and guess what. 100% of the whites were admitted to clubs. Only 50% of people of color were admitted. The only difference was their race.

Funkhouser says there are the things the city can do to correct this because as long as Cordish is getting tax relief from the city, he can't keep discriminating like this.

If there is a dress code -- which I think is deplorable -- then it should apply equally to everyone, which apparently it is not.
