Hi, I am wondering how the weather is there and if Garden City or surrounding areas were hit hard with the snow storm. I will be traveling through there soon and am trying to keep up on conditions in case i have to cancel my plans. I see it's really cold. Does the electricity go out often? should I have backup heat (i.e. firewood, kerosine heater)? Thanks!

My daughter lives out there. They did not get the snow that Wichita and east of there got. It has been cold but other than that it hasn't been too bad. Good luck on your travels.

Requirements look at this, click on the little blue camera in Garden City. As you can see, they have little or no snow right now.
