There is plenty of cold weather and dirty politics in Topeka. Also plenty of photographers. I don't know who all is hiring them for pictures, but there sure are a lot of people offering to show up with a fancy camera and take your pics. Even pics of objects... Hate to be a Debbie Downer.

On the plus side, this winter was more like a long fall, so what with global warming and everything, maybe cold weather will be a non issue.
And maybe you are such a talented photographer you will blow the locals out of the water and win all the graduation/wedding jobs. And maybe the politics will... no never mind, no plus side there.
