The same way you purchase land anywhere else--Start looking.
When you find something appealing, make sure the mineral rights are included.

That's what we did...

Can you recommend any websites that sell this kind of land? I do research, but I would like someone who has experience in this.

No.
I would recommend reading classified ads and looking for local realtors...

Realtor.com has land/acreage listings. Beyond that, you'll have to search for local real estate websites for the communities you're most interested in.

South Central and expected to expand into southwest Kansas in to county's such as Ford, Finney, Seward, Grant, Scott, Kiowa and Stevens. Garden City and Dodge City have seen minor changes already.

It would be best to buy land I would think around a major city like Dodge City. You have the benefit of land with oil rights and you're near a metro area.

the mineral rights usually always sell with the land! VERY seldom do former owners retain mineral rights, other than surface rights meaning basicly a water hydrant lol I have never been to a land auction in my life where the mineral rightsa have been retained by owners even if a oil well is pumping there! The new owner gets the oil
