Anyone know of a good car mechanic who maybe works independantly around the Overland Park area? I have had bad experiences with most chain car repair shops. I'd appreciate if someone would recommend a good mechanic.

One of the best mechanics that I have run across is a guy by the name of Rick Hurt. He has his own shop and is located south of Overland Park, KS in the southern part of Miami County. Go south out of OP down highway 69. Exit highway 69 at exit 399, go west approx. 1/4 mile to Ulery road, go south approx. 1.5 miles. His shop is approx. 1/4 mile north of the Linn Valley entrance.
