Yes, you would be able to find apartments in Baldwin (unlike many other Kansas towns its size). This is because Baldwin is home to Baker University. About 4,000 people in town. And I think there are a couple bars and several restaurants. Its only about 15 minutes from Lawrence, where there are hundreds of waitressing and bartending jobs. Baldwin's probably a good town for you considering what you're looking for. And it is a nice little town.

Baldwin City is a very nice town. Alot of my family came from there. I can't tell you about jobs, or places to live at, but you would be close to Lawrence, and to Ottawa. All I can tell you is that everytime that I have gone to Baldwin City the people are nice, the town is clean. It has a inviting feeling to it. I hope that you enjoy living there.

I am sure it is. Some of my family was from there and I have a brother in Ottawa now, we go back about once a year for a family get together on the one side of the family. It has always been a town I enjoy going to. The people are good and friendly, and I am sure church going people. Baldwin would be a town if I was to ever move again, I would live in.
