Are their Smog tests in Ks. & registration fees?
I know their are registration fees for vehicles, someone mentioned in a post that these are pretty high. Also, is smog testing required? Does anyone know if this varies from county to county? Thanks in advance!

Smog test???
You can pollute, run with no license plate, head or tail lights, shattered windshield. Whatever,.... but don't let that little lightbulb by your license plate hole burn out or they will haul your ass to court.

Yup.....Absolutly true. I cannot believe some of the vehicles driven in my town. Pollution spews from the tail pipes.
Where I am, not sure about any other KS towns - You don't even get an inspection, they just check the vin numbers to make sure they match. So, anyone basically can drive an unsafe vehicle.

No Smog in Ks
I don't think you will find any smog in Ks. However, if you go to western Ks, you might wish to trade the feedyard smells for smog, anyday!

Absolutely Correct!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know which is worse, a slop pig farm or a meat packing plant. Heck they all smell - when the wind blows a certain way!

They don't care what you drive in Kansas or what kind of shape it is in.
