Valley Center
My wife and I grew up in KS and we're moving back early next year. We are so happy about that. We've been in OK for a couple years and we're eager for slightly cooler weather and the good schools systems in KS.
We're moving to Valley Center on the northern edge of Wichita. I'm surprised not to see it menioned in this forum along with Maize, Andover, etc. because my research so far indicates it's a growing little town with low crime and very good schools. Housing is inexpensive but this may change in a few years as the town grows. Anyone from there, or know much about the town? Thanks!

I just noticed your post about Valley Center - you've probably given up on a reply by now.
 I lived there for a number of years, and it is a nice little community. Both of my kids graduated from the high school and got a good education there. I think housing is going to be about the same as in Wichita, though. Nice thing about Valley Center is the small town feeling with the convenience of a short trip into Wichita for shopping.
