Default Cawker City= Tourist Mecca???

When you make NPR, you know you are BIG stuff! Such is the thing with Cawker City, Kansas. Since NPR did a special on the town and the huge ball of string that sits in it, the town has been flooded by a half million tourist this year alone making it number 3 only behind Las Vegas and Orlando! New high rise hotels are being built from one end of town to the other to accomodate the rush of tourist. Cawker City expects to add over 22,000 new rooms in the next 12 months including the new MGM Wheat State Grand Hotel which, at 88 stories, will be the tallest hotel in the USA (a title now held by the Atlanta Westin). The new Cawker City International Airport is adding 3 new runways and will soon have more daily flights than Chicago O'hare. People from all over the world are wanting to see that big ball of string!

Are you serious about all of these new developments??? I thought the town only had like 1,000 people. An 88 story hotel????
