Tell me about Concordia, KS
Hello. My family and I are moving to Concordia in the next few months. My Hubby's job is relocating him there. I have noticed it is quite hard finding information on rentals in that town. So I was wondering is anyone able to help me out.

The only rental Concordia has is a barn with the weather station in it! Seriously, try looking in nearby Beloit if you cannot find anything in Concordia. Beloit is a better city anyway.

I was there in Aug, stayed at the city rv park across from Walmart. Maybe you could live in an rv park till you got something bigger. What kind of job is your husband getting there? I thought it was a very small town, but I like small towns.

Concordia is the greatest!
Concordia, Kansas is the greatest little city in Kansas. Schools are superb; art and music are thriving; the community college is growing; we have many active churches; Wal-mart is on the hill. Housing is not expensive. People are warm and friendly. Come on to Concordia. We'll welcome you.

Hi thanks for the answers.
My husband is going to be helping build the ethenol plant that is being built there. So we are going to be there an estimated time of 6 months or longer.
So is there any papers like in Oklahoma that list rentals or is it just mainly apartments with some houses?? I can't find anything online. We are supposed to be there by Jan 2nd and we are planning on driving up there sometime after christmas to find something.
I don't mind small towns, I'm from a smaller town in Oklahoma that didn't even have a Wal Mart. LOL.

The Concordia Blade-Empire is a paper there. They are here: Blade - Empire Contact Us
Also Beloit has a paper but they are too retarded to have a web presence yet. They are the Beloit Call and they might mail you a copy if you ask them.

Call the city clerk. Little towns require people contact. The city clerk is because most small towns water is billed through the city. She will know who has asked for service to be discontinued. Also call a realtor. In small towns often they do rental management as well. If nothing else ask them who you can call who would know.
