Default Geneseo, Kansas
Hi,
Our future dream is to build a dome home in Geneseo, Kansas. Does anyone know if they are permissible in this town or county? Geneseo is in rice county. Or we may even want to buy like 80 acres in the country to build our dome home on, likely in rice or stafford counties. Haven't heard of any around here, wonder why not.

In Kansas, many cities are Zoned...have to check with local zoning.

In Kansas, some counties are zoned, and others are not; if not zoned, build whatever.

Yes, I live here in Geneseo, Ks. and you can build any kind of house you want we have no city codes here, but you may have to check on the county codes as far as electrical or building.
