Default Toll Roads?

I was using some google maps to find directions and keep seeing "Partial toll road" showing up on I-70, what is this all about? Are there toll boths that I drop some money into, do I buy one of those transponder type things? If so, where do I buy it and how much is it? Does it bill montly? Sorry for all the questions, I have never driven on a toll road before.

Thanks,

Robert

It is only a toll road from about Olathe to Topeka. Not far and not much- maybe a few dollars at best. Then I-70 is free the rest of the way through the state. You stop at a booth and get a ticket and then you stop at another booth and pay the toll when you exit in Topeka. The cashiers are usually nice older folks.
