Snakey weather ahead near Ness City.
A view of expansive wheat fields from Greensburg.
The Franklin County Courthouse in Ottawa.
Mammatus clouds over Wilson Lake.
More of Wilson Lake.
The Dinsmoor House at the Garden of Eden in Lucas.
The road into the hills near Lucas.
A green-bottle... bee?
A little spider trying to hide from me on a street sign in Hays.
Another spider casting webs on the same sign (his buddy is further down the edge).

Not that few. I think it's just that most of us who see that beauty aren't very demonstrative how we express it. We experience it, absorb it, appreciate the moment and the sight, and don't get around to saying much. It just is. Plus, there are a lot of circles where it'll get you the usual rounds of urbanized scoffing. I tend to avoid that too.

It's been several years since I was there, and it was in broad daylight, but I'm almost sure that's in Wichita.
