I'm looking for your experience with cell phone coverage thoughout Harper, Sumner, Cowley and Butler counties.
What wireless carriers have the best coverage in that part of the country? Do any of you use any 3G services? EVDO or EDGE? Thanks for reading. |

I am not sure about the other counties but I get very spotty T-mobile in Cowley County. I imagine the closer you are to I-35 the better reception you will get.
The town I grew up in is about 17 miles from I-35. I get reception there but sometimes you have to go outside to really use the phone. My phone just doesn't work well inside. And I can't check my voicemail. My mom has a t-mobile data card and it is pretty much useless, there. It is too slow to really use. I think sprint works well. My grandma's phone is Sprint and she seems to have no problems. My uncle had his I-phone there a few weeks ago and it seemed to be fine so I guess AT&T is okay, too. My guess is that you will have spotty coverage from Winfield to El Dorado. |
