Moving to Olathe, need rental....
I am moving to Olathe around April 1st, 2008 from Indiana. I am in desperate need of a rental less than $600/month($500 or less, would be ideal), preferably 2 bedroom (I have a 2 bedroom home w/garage, here), I have lots of "stuff". I also, have a medium-large yellow lab mix, that is a very, very nice dog. She is not aggressive towards anyone, does not bark, unless someone is at the door(then stops upon enterance), she is "fixed" and has never done damage to anything, EVER!!
If anyone has something that could be accomidating, I would truly appreciate, knowing. Thanks in advance, Kelly

I dont know of any specific apartment complexes that permit dogs, but I am sure some do. I would look at the area near Santa Fe & I-35 for apartments in your price range. There are some along Ridgeview near 119th and near 119th & Strang Line (near 119th & I-35), but those areas tend to be a little pricier since they are newer. I think there are several complexes near Santa Fe & Mur Len (just east of I-35), specifically north of Santa Fe along Mur Len. These may be in your price range. $500 per month is about as affordable as they get in the KC metro area. But you could probably find something for $475 or so.
Good luck and welcome to Kansas / KC

I currently live in Lenexa which is about 5-10 minutes from Olathe. I live in a house with roommates and pay $550 a month all bills included. It's right by the highway, great location, 2 female roommates that are awesome. Lots of storage space in the garage and basement. I also have an 80lb greyhound that lives with me. I'll be moving to California on April 1st so will be vacating my room. if it sounds like something you'd be interested in e-mail me at tonydraxler@hotmail.com and I'll help you out with any questions you have or what not.
