So, why aren't you working there anymore? What's the official reason?

So how long does it take to get/lose a TS-SCI? Let's ask Jared?

The White House chief calligrapher has a higher clearance than Jared Kushner

Try as I might, I've not been able to determine what security clearance level Jared had restored. Can we be sure he's not conducting govt business on his personal email (LOCK HER UP, Ivanka)

So how's Gen. Myers' campaign to give a TS-SCI to every person who wishes to come to KSU?

Both KSU & KU have VP/Provost positions which have had interim (TS cleared) place holders. Both have abandoned searches for these positions several times; & then started the searches over again. @ KSU;
Chemistry Prof. Peter K. Dorhout became the interim vice president for research in December 2015 and was named the vice president for research effective April 1, 2016. (Translation: Dorhout had a TS-SCI when he was appointed Interim. No viable TS-SCI candidates emerged in 4 months of head-hunting. The previous VP for research lasted < 1 year. I prefer to believe she quit when she found out 35% of R&D $ were going to pay off the BRI debt for the next 18 years; or possibly she never passed a TS-SCI investigation.

@ KU: April 03, 2018 In Lawrence, KU Chancellor Douglas Girod talked about naming an interim provost within days and planning to fill the position permanently soon. https://www.kansascity.com/news/article207833499.html
Carl W. Lejuez was named interim provost and executive vice chancellor of the University of Kansas in spring 2018 and began his responsibilities on April 30, 2018.

Again, it's months later & still no permanent provost. Gen. Myers was brought in as interim KSU president, as he had a TS-SCI from being Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He likely was one of maybe 3 candidates for KSU prez that had a clearance, or wished to take over a university where 35% of the R&D budget was dedicated to the Bisosecurity Research Institute!

Default What to do while your clearance is pending?

At the TS-SCIF I worked @, new cartographers were hired without a TS-SCI investigation; sent to 6 months of off-installation indoctrination; and placed, provided they'd received a clearance by then.

DHS has been silent on security @ the NBAF. When questioned by the Buttner, NC, anti-NBAF group; DHS responded that the NBAF would have one TS-SCI "room," where the FBI could interview employees. That's kind of a Catch-22, why would the FBI need to question NBAFers in a TS-SCI space, when they're not doing any TS-SCI level research? It's a little late to be interrogating the KSU Colonels (Ret) Franz, Nancy K. & Jerry Jaax about which of their USAMRIID security & safety measures enabled the Anthrax Mailer.

When the USD 383 school board purchased the trailers used by Chapman USD as schoolrooms after the 2008 tornados; it was announced that the intended use was @ Manhattan Area Technical College for "NBAF training." I surmised that this is where possible NBAFites could be placed in holding until their investigation was final. But NBAF was nearly a decade off in the future. MATC has since started the Bioscience & Critical Environments Technology: A sustainable and qualified workforce ready to support the goals of biotechnology industries and NBAF is key to the success of the Animal Health Corridor. Note the photo of someone in a containment suit . . . It could take several months to learn how to get out of a containment suit following lunching on the daily mystery meat special in the NBAF cafeteria. (HUMOR)

Reminder to MATC prospects => the NBAF is not due to open until 2023.

My next-door neighbor (both he & wife are USDA, working @ KSU Biosecurity Institute) told me DHS has not finalized the security plans for the NBAF (which areas will/will not be TS-SCI). Following removal of anthrax from the Secret-level USAMRIID, a new TS-SCIF "campus" was built, where all employees & contract personnel had to have a TS-SCI clearance. Conjecture: the NBAF will be a total Top Secret - Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (TS-SCIF).

Groundbreaking occurred in August 2009 for a new, state-of-the-art, 835,000 square feet facility at Ft Detrick for USAMRIID. The building, being constructed by Manhattan Torcon Joint Venture under the supervision of the US Army Corps of Engineers, is projected for completion and partial occupation by 2015 or '16 and full occupation by 2017. This delay to the project delivery is in part due to a fire within the BSL4 laboratory area Wiki

So, we're the dumping ground for you employment dispute?

Is there a reason you lost your security clearance?

Based upon some of you posts I've asked if you have a medical diagnosis or reason behind this and you just keep dodging the question while claiming I work at KSU.

Please note, leave super long bizarre rants about a former employer while trashing the whole state and attacking anyone whom questions you as a "conspirator" is bizarre.
